 The Niff-T-Seat is a basically a Mississippi manufactured product that was developed to be used for fishing, hunting, watching golf, or any outdoor activity.  The hunting seat was developed out of necessity.  I was turkey hunting one morning without a seat and I knew that there had to be a seat or a method to make a hunting seat that would work for hunting.  The bird I was hunting would not come in and I was sitting on a root that was causing a great deal of pain.  After the bird left, I continued to sit there and I had many many thoughts about how to make a hunting seat.  And finally, all of sudden after thinking of treestands and everything else that was out there.  I had the idea to make a folding seat with a fixed baseplate.

 I went home and made the first hunting seat prototype.  The next morning I went turkey hunting on the first Niff-T-Seat and within 15 minutes I had taken my first bird sitting on the seat.
